Please provide your nomination(s) for the 2022-2026 ISBRA Board of Directors. All members of ISBRA in good standing are eligible to be nominated, except those who are Emeritus/Emerita or who have already served on the Board for three terms.
If you are unsure if a candidate is currently eligible for nomination, please see the following:
In accordance with the ISBRA Bylaws, two individuals will automatically serve on the 2022-2026 Board of Directors: Sung-Gon Kim (Korea), the Senior Vice President of the current (2018 - 2022) Board of Directors, is regarded as President-Elect, and remains on the new Board during his term as President, and Rosana Camarini (Brazil), the current President, also remains on the Board as the Immediate-Past President.
The Nomination Committee is especially seeking nominations that encourage a diverse 2022-2026 Board of Directors, e.g., balance of males and females, diverse ethnic representation, the inclusion of both senior investigators and those who are mid-career, etc. The Nomination Committee will select an appropriate number of candidates from each geographical region per the ISBRA Bylaws.
The nominator(s) must ensure that the proposed nominee is willing to stand for election and to serve on the Board of Directors if elected, must include a letter of nomination describing qualifications for serving on the Board of Directors, and must include a current CV or NIH Biosketch for the nominee. Each individual who is elected as Director shall be considered to represent the country of his or her birth or citizenship. Therefore, please specify in the nomination the country that will be represented.
The Board is responsible for managing the business and scientific affairs for the Society. It is important to nominate candidates who are interested and willing to spend the necessary time to manage the Society well.
Please submit your nomination, no later than January 31, 2022.
